About Us

About Saline and Blairingone Parish Church

A Place of Faith and Community

Saline and Blairingone Parish Church of Scotland serves the people of Saline, Blairingone, and Steelend, together with other settlements and farms in the parish, offering a warm and inclusive environment for worship and fellowship. Our dedication to serving the community and nurturing faith is at the core of our mission.

We are linked with the Parish of Tulliallan and Kincardine and are currently without a full-time minister so enjoy hosting visiting ministers from the Fife Presbytery.

Location

We are located in the Church Hall at 11 Main Street, Saline, Fife, KY12 9TL.

History

There are historical references to a church being established in Saline before 1249, but the oldest known church building remains are of a church in the old graveyard in Bridge Street dating from 1640 or possibly earlier. That building was demolished after completion of the current church in 1811.
