Forthcoming one-off and annual events involving our church and community are listed below. (The Groups page gives details of regular meetings of groups.)

  • Saturday 22nd September - Living Together in a World of Religions, 10.00am to 3.00pm, St Matthew's Church, Perth. To register, email wmoutreach@churchofscotland.org.uk
  • Sunday 23rd September - The Sacrament of Holy Communion, 9.30am. Saline Church. All welcome.
  • Wednesday 26th September - Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Services, 10.00am-12.00 noon, Church Hall. There will also be a 'Bring and Buy' Stall. Donations of baking, produce, bric- a- brac, etc. are welcome.
  • Friday 28th September - Quiz Night and Supper, 7.00pm, Saline Church Hall. Tickets including a light supper will be available from members of the Fellowship Team. Teams will be made up on the night. Children wishing to take part with their parents welcome. BYOB.
  • Wednesday 3rd October - Good Money Week Event, 9:30am - 1.00pm, City of Edinburgh Methodist Church. An opportunity to consider how your faith, values and finances interact. Learn how the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) relate to positive decisions about our money and how we can help ensure a sustainable world now and in the future.
  • Thursday 4th October - Cake, Bake and Faith Tour, Charlotte Chapel Edinburgh. Join Martha Collison and Will Torrent for a fun evening of cooking and conversation, including a live baking contest, as they talk about their career and their faith. Book your free ticket and enter the competition by emailing scotland@tearfund.org.
  • Relational Ministry Re-imagined - "Ministry with children and young people" - Saturday 6th October, 10.00am to 4.00pm. Live streamed to various locations. Book your ticket here. (10).
  • Sunday 7th October - Harvest Thanksgiving Service, 9.30am, Saline Church. The church will be decorated and a special offering given to charity.
  • Sunday 28th October - Sacrament of Holy Communion, 9.30am, Saline Church. All welcome.
  • Saturday 3rd November - Ceilidh and Supper, time tbc, Saline Community Centre.
  • Wednesday 7th November - Sacrament of Holy Communion, 11.30am, Saline Church. All welcome.
  • Saturday 10th November - Pastoral Care Conference - ‘Nurturing Pastoral Care Together' , 9.30am to 4.00pm, Vine Conference Centre in Dunfermline. Tickets 20 with a free copy of 'Learn: Pastoral Care' and lunch provided. Find out more and book online by 25th October.

General Guide Lines

For persons accepting lifts the following is recommended:
Round trips of up to 50 miles3.00

  • All children should be accompanied by an adult.

  • Wear boots for hill walks and strong shoes with a good grip for low level walks.

  • Wear clothing appropriate to the weather and bring a spare jumper and water/wind proofs just in case.

  • For all day walks, bring a packed lunch, sunscreen, and plenty to drink.
