Forthcoming one-off and annual events involving our church and community are listed below. (The Groups page gives details of regular meetings of groups.)

  • Saturday 4th August - Digital Footprint: Communicating the Gospel in Today's World, 10.30am - 4.30pm, Inverurie West Church - Acorn Centre. Conference designed to help churches communicate the Gospel through digital technology and social media. Book your free ticket
  • Friday 28th September - Quiz night and supper, 7.00pm, Saline Church Hall.
  • Saturday 3rd November - Ceilidh and Supper, time tbc, Saline Community Centre.
  • Saturday 10th November - Pastoral Care Conference - ‘Nurturing Pastoral Care Together' , 9.30am to 4.00pm, Vine Conference Centre in Dunfermline. Tickets 20 with a free copy of 'Learn: Pastoral Care' and lunch provided. Find out more and book online by 25th October.

Saturday 13th OctoberOchil Hill Circular (Ben Buck, Ben Cleuch and Ben Ever) 
 8 miles and height gained 670m (strenuous)

 7 (3.5) miles and height gained 100m (easy)

General Guide Lines

For persons accepting lifts the following is recommended:
Round trips of up to 50 miles3.00
Round trips over 50 miles5.00
Round trips over 100 miles7.50

  • All children should be accompanied by an adult.

  • Wear boots for hill walks and strong shoes with a good grip for low level walks.

  • Wear clothing appropriate to the weather and bring a spare jumper and water/wind proofs just in case.

  • For all day walks, bring a packed lunch, sunscreen, and plenty to drink.
