Events Diary

Forthcoming one-off and annual events involving our church and community are listed below. (The Groups page gives details of regular meetings of groups.)

  • Monday 19th February - Saline & Blaringone Church Guild meeting, 7.30pm in Saline Church Hall. The evening will explore the Guild theme of “Go in Love” through drama and discussion. All welcome
  • Wednesday 21st February - Heritage Society meeting, 7.00pm, Saline Church Hall. Derek Abbott will be talking about the Fife Coastal Path. Cost 1 members, 2 non-members. All welcome.
  • Monday 26th February - Sunday 11th March - Fairtrade Fortnight - Look out for the Fairtrade symbol on bananas, chocolate, cocoa, tea, sugar and many other products.
  • Friday 2nd March - World Day of Prayer Service (written by a group of Christian Women in Surinam, South America), 8.00pm in Church of the Holy Name, Oakley,  All welcome.
  • Friday 9th March - Swap Shop, 7.00pm in the Church Hall. Tickets, including refreshments, 3.00 from Irene Black. Come and find a bargain! Proceeds for the Church Restoration Fund.
  • Monday 19th March - Concert by Bruce Davies, 7.00pm in the Church Hall. Ticket (including Refreshments) 5. Proceeds for the Guild Project, Street Pastors.

General Guide Lines

For persons accepting lifts the following is recommended:
Round trips of up to 50 miles3.00

  • All children should be accompanied by an adult.

  • Wear boots for hill walks and strong shoes with a good grip for low level walks.

  • Wear clothing appropriate to the weather and bring a spare jumper and water/wind proofs just in case.

  • For all day walks, bring a packed lunch, sunscreen, and plenty to drink.
