Events Diary

Forthcoming one-off and annual events involving our church and community are listed below. (The Groups page gives details of regular meetings of groups.)

  • Saturday 27th October- Church of Scotland Autumn Conference, 10.30am - 3.15pm (registration from 10am), City of Edinburgh Methodist Church, Nicolson Square, Edinburgh.
  • Sunday 28th October - Sacrament of Holy Communion, 9.30am, Saline Church. All welcome.
  • Saturday 3rd November - Ceilidh and Supper, Saline Community Centre. Entertainment by the Crossford Music Group. Tickets 10 including supper available from members of the fellowship team. This is a very popular event, so secure your tickets early!
  • Wednesday 7th November - Sacrament of Holy Communion, 11.30am, Saline Church. All welcome.
  • Saturday 10th November - Pastoral Care Conference - ‘Nurturing Pastoral Care Together' , 9.30am to 4.00pm, Vine Conference Centre in Dunfermline. Tickets 20 with a free copy of 'Learn: Pastoral Care' and lunch provided. Find out more and book online by 25th October.
  • Sunday 11th November - Remembrance Service, 9.30am, Saline Church, followed by Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial at 10.55am. It is intended to ring the church bell from 10.30am joining in the national event to remember the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day 1918.

General Guide Lines

For persons accepting lifts the following is recommended:
Round trips of up to 50 miles3.00

  • All children should be accompanied by an adult.

  • Wear boots for hill walks and strong shoes with a good grip for low level walks.

  • Wear clothing appropriate to the weather and bring a spare jumper and water/wind proofs just in case.

  • For all day walks, bring a packed lunch, sunscreen, and plenty to drink.
