Forthcoming one-off and annual events involving our church and community are listed below. (The Groups page gives details of regular meetings of groups.)

  • Saturdays 15th, 22nd and 29th February - Healing Wounded Hearts, 10.00am-1.00pm, St Ninan's Church, Dunfermline. A Bible-based Trauma Healing programme based on biblical and mental health principals. Taught in small groups in a participatory way to encourage wellbeing, mindfulness and healing.   • Sunday 16th February - 'Sing, Sign and Celebrate' Service, 2.30pm, Dalgety Bay Parish Church. Join with others in celebrating our unity in Christ in these Services which enfold those with Learning Disabilities and Special Needs.   • Wednesday 19th February - Heritage Society - “Clackmannan Towers” by Susan Mills, 7.00pm tea/coffee & blether, 7.30pm talk, Church Hall. Members 1/ non-members 2. All very welcome
  • Thursday 20th February - Dunblane Gathering, 10.00am 1.00pm (Coffee from 9:30am), Cathedral Halls, The Cross, Dunblane. Join us to explore how Christian Aid responds to communities in crisis across the world.
  • Sunday 23rd February - Breakfast Church, 9.30am, Church Hall. Have breakfast and worship together. There will be bacon rolls, cereal, tea and coffee, etc. Come and join us. All are welcome.
  • Sunday 1st March to Sunday 29th March - Lent Bible Study "Les Miserables", 6.30pm, The Manse, Tulliallan and Kincardine Parish.
  • Thursday 5th March to Thursday 2nd April - Lent Bible Study "Les Miserables", 10.30am to 12.00pm, Session Room, Saline Church.
  • Friday 6th March - World Day of Prayer Service - joint service with Saline and Blairingone, Carnock and Oakley Parish churches and Church of the Holy Name, Oakley. 7.00pm, Oakley Parish Church, Station Road, Oakley. This year the service is compiled by a group of Christian women from Zimbabwe.
  • Friday 13th March - Round-table Seminar on the Church of Sanctuary, 2.00pm - 4.00pm, Church of Scotland, 121 George Street, Edinburgh. Hear from the Rev Dr Inderjit Bhogal who helped establish the City of Sanctuary movement and think about ways local churches could benefit and engage with a wider group, and what sort of support is needed from the national offices.   • Saturday 14 March - Church of Sanctuary Day Conference for Churches working with asylum seekers, refugees and migrants, 10.00am to 3.30pm, Central Church Tollcross, Edinburgh. A chance for learn about church-related refugee support – from integration projects locally, to thinking about theology and worship, and the global context. Refreshments including lunch available, although a contribution is appreciated. Reserve your free ticket here.

General Guide Lines

For persons accepting lifts the following is recommended:
Round trips of up to 50 miles3.00

  • All children should be accompanied by an adult.

  • Wear boots for hill walks and strong shoes with a good grip for low level walks.

  • Wear clothing appropriate to the weather and bring a spare jumper and water/wind proofs just in case.

  • For all day walks, bring a packed lunch, sunscreen, and plenty to drink.
