Forthcoming one-off and annual events involving our church and community are listed below. (The Groups page gives details of regular meetings of groups.)

  • Sunday 17th November - CrossReach and Social Care Sunday. We will be celebrating CrossReach's 150th Anniversary as part of our service. Donation envelopes will be available for anyone wishing to make a contribution towards their valuable work.
  • Sunday 17th November - Sing, Sign and Celebrate Service, 2.30pm at Cowdenbeath Trinity Church. This service is particularly suitable for those with Learning Disabilities and Special Needs.
  • Monday 18th November - Prisoners Week National Launch Service , 6.30pm, Bridge of Allan Parish Church. Prisoners Week, an initiative of the Churches in partnership with the Scottish Prison Service, aims to stimulate discussion, highlight concerns and share hope, in prisons and communities across Scotland.
  • Wednesday 20th November - Heritage Society talk, 7.00pm, Saline Church. Tea and coffee followed by talk on “What is Burn’s Scotland?” by Prof Gerard Carruthers. Members 1/non-members 2. All very welcome.
  • Wednesday 27th November - ‘Building and sustaining compassionate communities’ - The role of the Churches in supporting people with end of life matters, 10.00am to 4.00pm, Methodist Halls, Nicholson Square, Edinburgh.   • Sunday 1st December - First Sunday in Advent, 9.30am, Saline Church.
  • Sunday 8th December - Candles and Carols, 6.30pm, Kincardine and Tulliallan Church.
  • Sunday 15th December - Christmas Party, 2.30pm, Saline Church Hall.
  • Wednesday 18th December - Carol Singing, 6.00pm, Saline Golf Club.
  • Sunday 22nd December - Family Christmas Service, 9.30am, Saline Church.
  • Tuesday 24th December - Family Christmas Eve Service, 6.30pm, Saline Church.
  • Tuesday 24th December - Watchnight Service, 11.15pm, Saline Church.
  • Wednesday 25th December - Christmas Morning Service, 10.00am, Saline Church.
  • Sunday 29th December - Last Sunday Service of the year, 9.30am, Saline Church.

General Guide Lines

For persons accepting lifts the following is recommended:
Round trips of up to 50 miles3.00
Round trips over 50 miles5.00
Round trips over 100 miles7.50

  • All children should be accompanied by an adult.

  • Wear boots for hill walks and strong shoes with a good grip for low level walks.

  • Wear clothing appropriate to the weather and bring a spare jumper and water/wind proofs just in case.

  • For all day walks, bring a packed lunch, sunscreen, and plenty to drink.
